Early CGI Inspired Metaball Toy - Blender Cycles

I was just bored in Blender and decided to mess around with "Metaballs" to create a sort of metallic human-like toy, along with using compositing to give the renders a more vintage/early CGI look to it all while being rendered in cycles to give it more realistic lighting in order to better play off the effects of lighting artifacts present in the era of that CGI.

Second Version, Bit more refined with different compositing settings and lighting.

Third version, with more pronounced waves that are given a weird metallic property given by inspiration of early CGI and how metal surfaces looked

Just a simple HDRI example showing the "Toy" looking out into the harbor, Giving it a more humanistic nature.
